The Galerie-ateliers L’Alcôve will be hosting a new solo exhibition by a guest artist, promising to take us into an atypical universe that is a must-see.
THE EXHIBITION
From 07 February to 24 February, the gallery will be showcasing Marc-Antoine Petit’s new solo exhibition, ‘Goéland’.
Artist – Painter – Sculptor
“Inspired by Richard Bach’s Jonathan Livingston the Seagull.
A metaphorical and allegorical story of a young seagull whose love of flying leads him to transgress the laws of his clan and lead an extraordinary existence in a quest for the absolute.
Artist Marc-Antoine Petit invites you to discover his latest creations. It’s a turbulent flight into his world, where daydreams, alchemical symbolism, social issues, philosophical and spiritual questions all come together in a taste of maritime décor and old-fashioned adventure comics. Be careful not to get lost in this dizzying multitude, as your gaze will be riveted as much on the sky as on the sea.
You’re all invited to the preview on Thursday 08 February 2024, from 6pm at the Galerie-ateliers L’Alcôve, 15 rue René-Leynaud, 69001 Lyon.
