Who is Benoit Delaval?
Benoit Delaval is a graduate of the fine arts school in Chalon-sur-Saône. He worked as a graphic designer in an agency for eleven years before setting up his own business in 2020.
He then set up his office in the Alcôve studios. Working with artists gave him the desire to produce visuals that were less ‘technical’ and more ‘artistic’.
His artistic universe
Passionate about colour, he creates visuals using his skills as a graphic designer and his initial training at art school. He likes to play with shapes to create enigmatic images that let the viewer’s imagination run wild.
His favourite mediums are semi-automatic printing techniques such as risography, and traditional techniques such as screen printing. This enables her to create almost unique visuals while still having series.
